In his presentation entitled 'The Age of Nanotechnology', Professor James Gimzewski, leading nano scientist and distinguished Professor of Chemistry at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) will talk about the strongest material ever made, the reality of a space elevator, how the electronics industry kick-started the nano medicine revolution, and the potential for programming single molecules.
