This
DMMC/Wyeth Course will be of interest to research students, academic
staff and clinicians, whether contemplating a career in industry
or doing translational research in academia. The lectures provide
an overview of biopharmaceutical discovery, development and manufacturing,
delivered by key staff from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. A clinical perspective
is provided by clinician scientists based at St James's Hospital.

apply early to ensure your place. This course was very popular when
it ran last year. Please not, online application is for the lecture
course only (Tuesday 30 October).
In
addition to the lecture course, there is a DMMC/Wyeth
Molecules to Medicines Workshop taking place the following
day (Wed 31 October). There are a limited number of places
available on the workshop for postgraduate students with research
experience (e.g. at least one year into their PhD studies).
If you are interested in attending this workshop please send
an email indicating your interest to education@dmmc.ie
after you have applied for the lecture course. Please
note, you must attend the lecture course as well as the workshop.
The workshop was oversubscribed when it ran last year, so
