DMMC COURSES & WORKSHOPS

MOLECULAR CELL BIOLOGY IN ACTION
2 Nov - 14 Dec 2005; 0930-1230 weekly (Wed)
Venue: Lecture Theatre, UCD Conway Institute, University College Dublin (location)

Online application is closed
(Online application period: 17 - 28 Oct 2005)

Course Coordinator: Dr John Baugh (UCD Conway Institute)

This course, running over seven Wednesday mornings, covers the molecular processes and interactions inside and between cells. Lecturers describe the experimental study of these processes, and how this impacts on knowledge and treatment of disease. The course assumes a basic knowledge of molecular biology.

The objective for postgraduate teaching is to give students an integrated view of how cells function at the molecular level in health and disease, related to current research. We recommend that postgraduate students interested in this course attend the whole course (DMMC Course Attendance Certificates are only provided for complete attendance).

Follow the links below to read an abstract of each lecture. Abstracts will appear as soon as we receive them.
